Nice design if it stays on

This is a really nice patch, but the only problem which is a big one is it won't stick! I've tried twice to iron it on and it stays on..until it goes in the wash, then it peels off. Really annoying, but it could be because I'm not using a t-shirt but a thick duty jacket.
